What makes your venue unique for weddings?

Heritage Hill is truly one of the most unique wedding venues in the area. Set on 56 acres of beautifully preserved parkland, the site features 27 historic buildings that create a one-of-a-kind, immersive backdrop. Couples can choose from a variety of stunning ceremony locations, including our nearly 200-year-old Moravian Church, the elegant Victorian Gazebo, the rustic 1800s Belgian Farm Grounds, and the scenic Garden Patio with panoramic views of Green Bay.
In addition to unforgettable ceremony spaces, Heritage Hill offers full-day wedding experiences with two flexible reception packages—featuring both indoor and outdoor options—so you can celebrate your entire day in one remarkable location.

You don’t have to love history to enjoy getting married on our historic grounds! With spaces that can accommodate anywhere from 50 to 200 guests, we offer a variety of ceremony and reception locations to match each couple’s unique style—whether that’s an intimate gathering in a cozy indoor venues or a lively celebration on our Garden Patio. We love working with couples who are most excited about being married and sharing that joy with their favorite people. Our versatile spaces provide the perfect backdrop for any kind of love story.

Do you offer any getting-ready spaces or suites on-site?

We offer two comfortable and convenient getting-ready spaces for couples on their big day.
The La Baye Lounge, located in our Education Center, features soft seating, a TV with streaming services for entertainment, and a private changing room with closet space—ideal for relaxing and preparing before the celebration begins.
Our second option, the Hideaway Suite, is nestled in the heart of the park just steps from the Moravian Church. This cozy suite includes a spacious bathroom, perfect mirrors, and ample counter space for those final special touches.
Both suites come stocked with our complimentary “Day Of” amenities baskets, providing thoughtful essentials to help make your wedding day as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

Are there any standout photo spots couples should know about?

Do you have any fun or unexpected features couples might not know about?

One unique feature couples often love is the opportunity to take photos inside up to two of our historic buildings with a special photo pass. Two standout favorites are the YMCA Library and Tank Cottage. The YMCA Library offers a moody, eclectic backdrop with floor-to-ceiling bookcases and vintage artifacts—perfect for intimate, storytelling shots. Tank Cottage, the oldest standing residence in Wisconsin, provides a beautifully rustic setting with original log construction and clapboard siding that really shines in soft natural light. It’s a hidden gem for timeless, historically rich photos.
Couples also have the option to rent our park tram! It’s a fun and practical way to shuttle guests to and from the ceremony location, and it can also be used for photos. The tram allows the couple, wedding party, and family to explore more of Heritage Hill’s beautiful grounds and take full advantage of the park’s many incredible photo spots.

We work with each couple to bring their vision to life by offering a variety of spaces and customizable options throughout Heritage Hill. From choosing the perfect ceremony and reception spot—whether indoors or outdoors—we support couples in making every detail feel personal and meaningful. Can couples bring in their own vendors, or do you have a preferred list?

Couples are welcome to bring in their own vendors for most services! For celebrations with 50 or more guests, we do require the use of one of our preferred caterers. Beyond catering, you’re free to work with any vendors you choose. We do have a list of trusted professionals who are familiar with Heritage Hill, and we’re always open to welcoming new vendors to our space.

What’s your favorite part of a wedding day at your venue?

Our favorite moment of the wedding day at Heritage Hill is watching the couple walk back down the aisle as newlyweds. The joy and excitement on their faces—mixed with a sense of relief and calm after the nerves—make every moment of planning and preparation truly worthwhile.

What’s one wedding detail you’ve seen here that totally wowed you?

One wedding detail that always stands out is when couples incorporate something meaningful to them that also complements the historic charm of the park. For example, some have rented a horse and carriage to capture timeless photos in our 19th-century Growing Community area. Others have brought vintage cars to showcase against the park’s scenic grounds, enhancing that nostalgic, vintage atmosphere. These personalized touches truly make each celebration unforgettable.
