How They Met

Erin & Quinten met in 2020 when they were paired up to walk down the aisle when Quinten’s cousin married Erin’s best friend. The two felt an instant chemistry and began slow dancing at the reception before the reception even started.

How They Got Engaged

In January 2023, Erin and Quinten, took a walk along the Fox River in Green Bay. At one point Quinten played the song “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran and asked Erin to dance. As the song ended, Quinten got down on one knee and proposed.

How many dresses did you try on?

“I tried on five dresses. Everyone loved the first dress.” Erin says she compared all of the other dresses to the first one. It had the lace and beading that she wanted but ultimately felt the most comfortable and she thought it would fit well with the theme of the wedding and the venue.

Ceremony Details and Favorite Moments:

Erin and Quinten had their ceremony outdoors, by the water, at Woelfel Homestead Farm Venue. The aisle was lined with bundles of flowers containing sunflowers, lilies, carnations, and more, all set inside a decorated mason jar and hanging on small shepard’s hooks. The bride and bridesmaids carried bouquets of similar configurations. For pre-wedding music, the couple chose for the DJ to play instrumental versions of their parent’s and grandparent’s first dance songs. The couple’s miniature schnauzer, Sprecher, served as the ring bearer. Erin says one of the most memorable moments happened at the end of the ceremony. “We took the wrong que and ended up walking back up the aisle before the officiant officially pronounced our marriage!”

Reception Details and Favorite Moments:
Erin and Quinten held their reception inside the barn at Woelfel Homestead Farm Venue. Guests feasted on delicious BBQ from Parker John’s and cupcakes from More Icing Please. But Erin says one of the best parts was getting to spend time with everyone while they ate. During speeches, the couple’s extended family surprised them by singing a blessing to them. Following the dinner, the dancing began. Erin’s Aunt Lori led the group in the Loco-Motion. “There was an 80-person train going through the venue!” After most of the guests stopped dancing, the DJ even played around thirty minutes of back-to-back Taylor Swift songs for the bride and her friends. Guests were also treated to a late-night snack of gourmet popcorn from Faris Popcorn.
