Lana from Pickglam Bridal made my dress shopping experience one to remember. Her store is filled with class and elegance. She took amazing care of me and was flexible when I was still in my decision process. Her service was incredible, and she is so personable and genuinely cared so much that my dress and wedding was everything we hoped for and more.

How many dressed did you try on?  How did you know yours was the one?
Over 50! I knew my dress was the one because I continued to shop at other places and could not forget how I felt in the dress at Pickyglam Bridal. I went back three times to try it and it confirmed my thoughts and feelings each time!

Men’s Wearhouse – We went with tan because my colors were so vibrant. The ties were from Azazie to match bridesmaid dresses.

Diedrich Jewelers-
Diedrich Jewelers consistently has the best service and took great care of us. From Kylie’s engagement ring, to wedding bands, and jewelry gifts for the moms, they were so helpful! The ladies at Diedrich’s are like family and truly want the best experience possible for their customers! They worked with us and provided us several different options and we are so happy with our jewelry. They are amazing!

Tara Rudy Photography did an outstanding job of keeping us on our timeline along with Diane. She worked with us to capture the most special and intimate moments along with the fun-loving causal moments. She really poured her heart and soul into making our day incredibly memorable. Tara Rudy is like family to us and was so sweet and genuine throughout the whole experience. She has been capturing memories for my family growing up and I couldn’t imagine my wedding without her.

All of the photos were taken on-site at Heidel House. Pier, the path to lake, sunset photos, fountain photos, arch photos.

Diane from the Heidel House was an amazing coordinator. From the very beginning of planning through the wedding and beyond she made sure we were taken care of. She kept everyone including other vendors on schedule. She checked in with parents, bridal party, and guests. She truly made our day magical and flawless. I recommend Diane to everyone I know going through the wedding planning process!

Ceremony Décor (Floral Arch) :
I Do Decorating & Rental Service, Ripon, WI
Cathy and her team from I Do Decorating were super flexible and worked with us to create our dream wedding. She offered many options and worked with me to add things as I thought of them. She also color matched with Brian and went above and beyond to recreate our inspiration. Her team was amazing and allowed input during set up. Cathy is truly the best!

Florist (Bouquets):
uBloom Oshkosh
Brian from UBloom did an amazing job with our floral arrangements. He picked up my inspiration and went above and beyond to make it even better. He color matched super well with my decorator and the flowers were beautiful.

Did you write your own vows?
Yes, we shared private vows while doing a first touch moment before the ceremony. We did not see each other.

Reception Venue:

What drew you to choosing Heidel House?
It was beautiful and Trevor and I both love Green Lake so much! Diane was amazing and so organized and truly helped us create our dream day. We loved how seamless she made it seem for us. It was an amazing experience from start to finish planning with Diane.

Cake/Dessert Vendor:
Baked-Cakes by Design -Berlin, WI
We were able to try various options and work with Kristina to make sure we were confident in what we wanted. She was super flexible and worked well with us offering many different options. The cupcakes and cake were phenomenal as well!

Favorite Moments
We loved all of the speeches from the maid of honor, best man, and both of our dads. They were so incredible and very memorable. We also loved sharing our video of our journey with our guests and surprising them with the announcement that we bought a house in the end! We loved our first dance and our dances with our parents. Kylie loved giving away her bouquet to her mom!

Looking Back

Favorite Moments.
Kylie’s getting ready experience and her first look with her bridesmaids and dad was super memorable. We also privately gave our vows (without seeing each other) which was a super vulnerable and loving moment.
Kylie walking down the long isle in the radiant sunshine was a beautiful experience for Trevor. We also loved our tree planting unity during our ceremony as it was a time to thank God for our special day, our families, and the dirt where we grew up. Our sunset pictures were super memorable and sweet. We loved our reception video and speeches. Having a private last dance was a very genuine and sweet way to end our special day.

What advice or tips would you share with other couples currently planning their wedding?
Take time in the stress of planning to have fun with your fiancé and go on dates! It can be very stressful sometimes, but it’s good to put it aside and spend intentional time together. We would also say take the time to talk about what you want as a couple and what means the most to you both. Create a timeline to help the process go smoothly and not so stressful all at once. Enjoy every moment/decision even though it seems like a lot!
