While pure white typically takes center stage at traditional weddings, pops of color add an entirely new dimension, reflecting the couple’s unique personalities. This photo shoot at Green Bay Botanical Garden featured an array of vibrant hues, sparkling disco balls, and other elements that brought a sense of cool glamor to the day. Anna Gutermuth Photography captured the alluring styled wedding shoot, which included both natural and glitzy yet tasteful facets.
The Frances gown was designed by Loulette Bride, an independent, women-owned, designer bridal boutique in Brooklyn, New York that offers size-inclusive items and fully supports the LGBTQ+ community. For every dress sold, Loulette plants a tree in the bride’s name, a testament to their passion about the environment. Frances is made with silk floral printed organza and covered in embroidered florals and three-dimensional silk flowers.
The earrings, bracelet, and necklace were both designed by Ti Adoro Jewelry out of Pawtucket, Rhode Island. The matching necklace and bracelet consisted of a dainty gold chain with freshwater pearls.
The white Skylar jumpsuit was originated by Jenny Yoo, a women-owned designer in New York whose focus is sustainability. In an effort to maintain their mission, they have partnered with Fabscrap to recycle and repurpose unused materials as well as donate materials to an NYC youth fashion design school. The white jumpsuit is made from extremely soft, comfortable fabric and features pockets – every bride’s favorite sought-after feature.
The inspiration behind the floral palette was sunset modern eclectic. Bee Enchanted Florist brought their A-game! The flowers used to create the look were a rainbow mixture of dried, fresh, and silk flowers. The fresh florals were a medley of white king protea, burgundy queen protea, toffee roses, lavender, pink O’Hara, mount flora, free spirit, burgundy heart roses, hot pink gladiolus, coral peonies, eryngium magnetar, ying yang pomps, Sahara sunset spray roses, coral ranunculus, Agonis, eucalyptus, springeri, tree fern, blush heather, orange spray roses, purple garden spray roses, yarrow, and amber lisianthus.
The dried florals included pampas grass, bunny tails, baby’s breath, palms, bleached amaranthus, ruscus, and baby eucalyptus. The silk florals were hydrangea, banksia protea, black-eyed Susan, and white pampas grass. Miniature disco balls and pink glitter were incorporated throughout the florals for an extra dash of funky elegance.
Additional design details included a stunningly modern cake courtesy of The Cupcake Couture, tall candlesticks, mid-century slate blue wine glasses, wicker lanterns, and a golden table runner to tie everything together. The appetizing spread was courtesy of The Farmacy in Green Bay.
