To be completely honest, I’m not like the rest and that’s what makes this experience so intentional. My approach blends documentary storytelling with an editorial eye, creating images that feel romantic, timeless, and true to you.

I’m inspired by connection in all forms —art, travel, design, florals, architecture and I bring that inspiration into every wedding I document. Each love story is one of a kind, and it deserves to be captured with care and preserved for generations to come.

On your wedding day, I document with a photojournalistic approach, I move with a balance of presence and intention —blending in quietly to capture the moments that go unnoticed, while stepping in with gentle guidance when needed. I want you to feel fully present, knowing your story is being documented as it naturally unfolds.

Since 2011, I’ve been drawn to capturing meaningful moments, and weddings quickly became where that passion came to life. Building genuine connections with my couples is at the heart of what I do, so you feel comfortable, confident, and completely yourself in front of the camera.

It’s an honor to not only document your day, but to be there for it—celebrating alongside you, supporting you, and preserving the moments you didn’t even realize were happening.

My now wife and I looked far and wide for a photographer for our wedding in Madison, Wisconsin (I resorted to posting on FB to give you a sense of our desperation). It's hard to find a great photographer -- we spent more time looking for one than any other vendor. Look no further: Xee is that great photographer. She was a wedding highlight and exceeded all of our expectations.

We had a call with her and she asked all the right questions (schedule, tastes, preferences). It always felt like she was just on top of it. It clearly wasn't her first time doing logistical calculus.

At the wedding / rehearsal dinner etc, she did two things that stuck out to me:
1. She kept the train moving and made sure to get all the important shots.
2. She made our guests feel comfortable. At some weddings it feels like the fourth wall is broken and you're being marched around for a photoshoot that is neither candid no genuine. Xee managed to capture every moment with the perfect cheerful disposition.

And then the photos just blew us away. Amazing footage, and she somehow captured the precise emotion and feeling in the room. I know we'll be looking back at these in 50 years feeling as though we were right back in Madison, reminded precisely how our friends and family were that day.

My partner and I stumbled across Xee’s Instagram in search for a photographer that captures LGBTQIA+ love. When we were planning a backyard wedding she was with us & when we changed our wedding to be in Mexico, she completely rolled with the punches & booked a flight.
