Including your dog on your wedding day!

Our dogs are a big part of our families, let’s be honest, some times they are the center!  So, you want to include them in your big day but you aren’t sure how. Here are some ideas how you can incorporate your fur baby in your big day.

At the Ceremony

This couple had an intimate back yard wedding and were able to have their dogs front and center with the wedding party.  At home in their own back yard was very comfortable for them even with a large group of guests.  You know your pet and you are the best judge of how they will interact and react to a busy day with lots of strangers who are all going to want to pet them!

At the Reception

There are many ways to include Fido in your wedding reception. From cake toppers to doggy bag favors there are plenty of ideas out there!

Here are a few fun and creative examples from recent NE Wisconsin weddings that incorporated their dog or dogs into their big day.

From a signature drink menu, custom swizzle sticks with their dog’s adorable face to a biscuit bar or doggy favor station as well as a donation table for a local dog rescue.

In the Wedding Pictures

Whether you include them in your engagement photo, your save the date announcement or your wedding portraits, all are great opportunities to capture your beloved friend in your wedding celebration memories.

There are even pet concierge services now that provide transportation to help coordinate your best furry friend into your wedding day!
