Flowers are timeless, universal, and representative of everlasting love and romance. And when wedding dresses are adorned with floral designs, they stand out in the very best way. A stunning floral gown recently served as the muse for Libby VanderGeeten, owner of Savvy Belle Makeup, who dreamt up and coordinated a whimsical photo shoot. This beautifully styled photo shoot, captured by Emily Kettner Photography, took place at Stone Prairie, an outdoor event venue in Brillion, Wisconsin. When Tiffani’s Bridal in Appleton posted the floral gown online, Libby felt inspired to showcase its glamorous, intricate details, since it’s not every day you see a gown like it in the world of bridal.
The flowers on set were, of course, inspired by the elegant gown. The Roots on 9th team sought a whimsical, garden vibe, which was accomplished with various flower species, including Butterfly Ranunculus, Golden Mustard Roses, Cherry Scoop Scabiosa, Lavender Delphinium, Peach Ranunculus, Peach Lisianthus, Gerponi Danee Gerbera Daisies, Sweet Peas, Anemone, Freesia, Astilbe, and Cremons.
The star of the show was a colorful floral gown, the Esther from the Calla Blanche Collection. Fittingly enough, the name Esther means “star.” The traditional ball gown features a sweetheart neckline, 3D floral lace detailing, and a sparkling tulle underlay. Detachable sleeves are an option for brides who desire extra details and support.
This gown was brought into Tiffani’s to inspire brides to purchase a dress that reflected their individual personality. While the classic all-white dress style is still popular, brides are exploring nontraditional looks for their special day.
DuBois Formalwear supplied the burgundy Ike Behar suit.
The bride’s hairstyle was a classy, fashionable low updo with loose curls to frame her face. To keep the dress the center of attention as far as aesthetics, the makeup artist went with a soft neutral glam to reflect the beautiful beige layer underneath the floral decals. At the same time, the goal was to bring out the bride’s naturally gorgeous features.
To highlight the grandeur of Stone Prairie, the outdoor venue used as the setting of the photo shoot, Wedding Perfect created an opulent color scheme with shades of turquoise, tan, gold, and hues of red and purple. The imported English greenhouse made for a unique altar backdrop. The patterns of the tableware varied from modern chic to natural yet refined. In addition to the glow of the sun, candles and light bulbs lined the dining tables for a dash of luminescence.
The exquisite wedding invitations, designed by L.designs Invitations, were adorned with a delicate and enchanting floral design. Each invitation was meticulously crafted to capture the essence of romance and the beauty of nature. The simple yet sophisticated arrangement of flowers brings a touch of timeless charm, setting the tone for a celebration filled with joy and warmth.
