Bailey and Cody attended high school together and became friends their freshman year. Cody asked Bailey out a few times before graduation, but Bailey was scared to ruin their friendship. Then, shortly after graduation, they both decided to give it a try one month before Bailey moved to Missouri for college. They ended up seeing each other every couple of months. Bailey eventually moved back to Wisconsin, and they hung out on the weekends between different colleges and summer jobs.
Bailey found her dream wedding dress at Elaine’s Wedding & Event Center in Green Bay. She let her sister select the first couple of dresses to try on, and she ended up falling in love with one of the first ones. She loved the dress so much that she ended up canceling her appointment for later that day at another bridal shop. Bailey’s bridesmaids found their gowns at Elaine’s Wedding & Event Center in Appleton.
Cody and his groomsmen were suited at DuBois Formalwear in Green Bay.
The wedding ceremony was held at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Appleton.
The wedding party had planned on going to Plamann Park but it proved too wet and muddy. A quick detour proved for a beautiful setting for the pictures by Timeless Touch Photography.
The Radisson Hotel & Conference Center Green Bay was the first and last reception venue Bailey and Cody toured. They loved the fact that the venue included both a casino and a hotel. Many of their guests spent time at the casino after the reception, and the hotel offered the opportunity for their family and friends from out of town to have fun and be safe.
The Radisson Hotel provided a delicious buffet-style dinner with excellent service. For dessert, guests enjoyed cakesicles from Mia Stav Cakes in Milwaukee.
Green Bay DJ service Extreme Entertainment provided a great deal of fun for Bailey, Cody, and all of their guests. They knew how to read the crowd, and the dance floor was packed the entire night.
After tying the knot, the newlyweds rode over to the venue. Spending a half hour alone together in peace was a pleasant break in the middle of a hectic day. Bailey also fondly remembers seeing all of their loved ones at the reception while Cody was thanking everyone for being there and feeling so loved and happy.
For Bailey, the first look with her dad was a beautiful moment. She gifted her father a tie with a photo of the both of them embedded on the back. The photo was from when Bailey was 3 or 4 years old and was a miniature bride for her aunt’s wedding. “It was very special looking back at how much time has passed, then looking to the present when I was a real bride and having my dad about to walk me down the aisle to be married,” Bailey shares.
Bailey and Cody honeymooned at the Bungalows Key Largo in Florida.
