Victorian Bridal Waupaca: Crazy in Love

May 17, 2022

Romantic Bridal Style from Waupaca, Wisconsin

Bridal fashions are one of the most exciting elements of any styled shoot. For our most-recent shoot at Oshkosh’s Gibson Social Club, we worked with two local bridal salons to showcase the gorgeous gowns available in Northeast Wisconsin. Today, we’re spotlighting the romance on display from Victorian Bridal in Waupaca, Wisconsin.

Victorian Bridal is a full-service salon that has been dressing and accessorizing brides and bridal parties for 30 years. Founded in 1992 and located in the heart of Waupaca, current owners Bailey and Christine took over the business in November of 2018. Bailey started working at the shop while in college in 2009. She fell head over heels for the bridal industry—so much so that when the previous owner joked that she should take over the store someday, the seed was planted.

Christine came on board in 2013, and after a few years of working together, Christine and Bailey grew to be close friends—and eventual business partners! The two decided to buy the shop, and the rest is history. Both Bailey and Christine are dedicated not only to each and every bride who walks through their door, but to building upon the 30-year legacy of Victorian Bridal and carrying it into the future.

Here’s a look at the gowns Victorian Bridal provided us for our styled shoot

Lillian West Gowns

Bridal dresses by Lillian West are all about whimsy and romance. Soft, patchwork lace, flowing silhouettes, illusion elements—these looks are ideal for a bride in search of something enchantingly chic, with a dash of allure.

The Sabrina Neck Gown is a gorgeous, snug-fitting silhouette with an extremely low back, illusion side cut-outs, and a stunning illusion neckline laced with appliqué. Looking for a bit more coverage? This style is also available with lined sides.

The Allover Lace Gown plays with similar features: an illusion bodice, plunging neckline, and illusion side cut-outs. Multiple laces and trim are punctuated with a scalloped train, giving this gown a boho-chic vibe. As with the Sabrina, lined sides are an option.

Morilee Gown

Founded in 1953 in New York City, Morilee began as a family business. Their mission is to create beautiful dresses for all women, highlighting a bride’s natural beauty with a perfect fit.

The Ravenna Dress features a draped bodice and flounced ball-gown skirt. You can find this dress in many hues: white, ivory, ivory/blush, and smoky lavender. Buttons along the back of the dress add an extra dash of detail to make this a one-of-a-kind look.

Jasmine Coutre Gown

The Jasmine Dress is a mermaid-style gown with a plunging front and back. The bodice is adorned with hand-beading and lace appliqué over glittering tulle. Looking for some drama? The back features a cathedral train, so you can be breathtaking whether coming or going.

Bridesmaid Dresses

After Six Bridesmaid Dress

The cold-shoulder look heats up in this lovely chiffon dress. Full-length, lux material evokes elegance, while the off-the-shoulder drape lends the perfect pinch of romance.

This figure-flattering dress is rendered in a gorgeous stretch fabric with cap sleeves and an A-line skirt. It’s easy on the eyes, comfortable to wear, and sure to make your girls feel gorgeous.
