Josh and Missy’s Green Bay Wedding at Stadium View

Chapter One: Kewaunee
Missy and Josh both hail from Casco, Wisconsin. The two crossed paths for the first time at the Kewaunee County Fair. “Josh came up and introduced himself to me,” Missy remembers. The day Josh asked Missy to marry him, he took her out for breakfast, then suggested a walk in — where else? — Kewaunee along the pier. “Josh proposed to me at the end of the pier. I had no idea it was coming!”

Wedding Planning
Josh and Missy landed on a rustic-autumn October wedding with a ceremony at Missy’s home church of Holy Trinity — coincidentally, the same church where Josh’s parents were married. The reception would be held at Stadium View in Green Bay. Missy found her gown at Tie the Knot in Green Bay and Josh turned to Dubois Formalwear for his suit.

Ceremony Made Meaningful 
At the church ceremony, Missy’s cousin, Father Mark Mleziva, officiated the marriage. Missy’s niece and goddaughter, Kilee, played Canon in D on the piano as Missy’s father walked her down the aisle. “Kilee is just 10 years old!”

Stadium View Reception
At the reception, Josh and Missy were particularly thrilled to be able to fit their entire wedding party at the head table: “Even the miniature bride and flower girl — there were 25 of us!” Reception food and drinks were catered by Stadium View, with a dinner choice of chicken or beef tips. “Stadium View was so great. They made everything so easy and always got back to me on my questions right away.”

Missy says the day was “perfect, amazing, and beautiful.” The moment that sticks with her the most: “We were just amazed how many people made it to celebrate our wedding and help us feel so loved.” Her top bit of advice to brides planning their big day: “Hire a decorator. It was a weight lifted off my shoulders!”
