In menu planning, take into account local flavors to add a personal touch to the day. If the geographic region of your wedding is known for a particular food item or ingredient try and find a way to serve it to your guests. A Door County wedding could feature cherries, either in the form of an entree or even a cocktail while an event in western Wisconsin could feature cranberries. Is there a local brewery or winery close by? Ask your venue if you can serve them during cocktail hour.
