Wednesday Wedding Tip- Marriage Licenses

An important date on your wedding timeline is picking up your marriage license. Contact your county clerk’s office far in advance to determine the time frame in which your license needs to be obtained as they are only valid for a specific window of time. Be prepared to bring things like birth certificates, proof of residence, and other documents (the office issuing the license will tell you exactly what is needed) with both bride and groom present. After the ceremony you will complete the document and your officiant will return it to the appropriate office.
