One item you 100% cannot leave for the last minute is researching and obtaining your marriage license. Check out the appropriate Clerk of Court’s website regarding several key items, like how much the document costs, what appropriate forms are needed to obtain it, and what counties the license is valid in. Licenses often cannot be purchased immediately and are only good for a specific period of time so plan ahead to avoid a wedding day catastrophe.
