New Owner at Erika’s Bridal Couture

October 24, 2013

Neenah— Erika’s Bridal Couture, a long-time favorite destination for brides, was recently purchased by Katie McCarty. Located at 935 W. Cecil Street in Neenah, Erika Meyer opened the store in 1973 with only one dress! The business has grown over the years to a very prestigious and chic high-end bridal boutique, featuring sophisticated and distinctive bridal gowns, bridesmaid, mother of the bride and flower girl dresses. Erika’s Bridal Couture is the exclusive retailer in the Fox Valley for designers such as Enzoani, Dessy, and Watters, and serves brides from all across the United States.

McCarty is an Appleton native who graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Masters Degree in Accounting. Owning a small business fulfills McCarty’s lifelong dream and passion for wedding gowns. McCarty’s goal for Erika’s Bridal Couture is to maintain the high standards the store has established and to create a one of a kind experience for the bride as well as her family and friends. In 2014, McCarty plans to offer specialized jewelry and accessories. Additionally, she has begun stocking plus sizes for both brides and bridesmaids, in order to cater to a variety of women.
