PAINE ART CENTER AND GARDENS OPENS NEW WEDDING FACILITY!

Experience the romantic wedding of your dreams in the Paine Art Center and Gardens’ newly constructed conservatory! Throughout 2012 the Paine Art Center and Gardens built a new facility designed in the style of a garden conservatory to host wedding ceremonies and receptions. The building is attached to the existing carriage house that also endured an extensive renovation, making the Paine an extravagant destination setting for a memorable wedding ceremony and reception.

The conservatory is the first new structure built on the Paine property since the estate was first constructed in the late 1920’s. The construction and renovations have been designed to keep the quality integrity and character of the existing historic property. The exterior of the structure has been built with the same materials as the historic Paine architecture, Kasotoa limestone and artisan stucco. Inside, the new construction as well as the renovation features quality materials, like quarter-sawn oak woodwork and terrazzo floors, similar to elements in the Paine mansion.

The conservatory and carriage house are set amidst over three acres of the estate’s breathtaking gardens and historic backdrops. Revered as an “American Castle,” the Paine is an outstanding collection of historic English mansion, romantic gardens, and now a majestic conservatory designed to host your perfect event. With the variety of locations the Paine provides there is the ideal combination for each couple to choose from. Full estate events are possible bringing the indoor elements of notable architecture and masterful craftsmanship to the beauty and charm of the outdoor gardens, sculptures, and flower lined pathways. The indoor and outdoor options give year-round opportunity to host your event at the Paine.
